Lyndi Alexander’s second novel in her series, “Clan Elves of the Bitterroot”, The Elf Child, is a winner. The protagonist of The Elf Queen gives birth, and all kinds of mystery surround the pregnancy, as well as danger, both to the mother and the babe. If you have read and enjoyed Brandon Mull’s Fablehaven series about fairies and magic, you will love Alexander’s books about elves. Suspense abounds, with danger lurking around every tree in the forest. I truly couldn’t stop reading!
