  • Getting the word out

This weekend I’ve tried to spread the word around about the series, including a post at Red Room . I’ve submitted a blog, too, at Savvy Authors, which should post on September 4. We’ve sent a round of books for review and we keep reminding people on Facebook and my other blogs to come visit. We even got our first spam today!  Definitely on the way to somewhere!

    Welcome, Joel!

Today I got a part-time publicist to help get the news of our Clan Elves out there in the world. He’s busily digging up media venues and sending out review copies of the book. It’s great to have him here. Feels like a real book driving machine!

    Happy reading!

    Our first review at Amazon!

    This is so exciting!

This review is from: The Elf Queen (Clan Elves of the Bitterroot) (Kindle Edition)

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. It was well written and interesting. If you enjoy fantasy….and letting your mind wander…and wonder…about other worlds or beings ~ then this is up your alley. A quick and easy read as the cadence of the writing flows nicely from chapter to chapter. Enjoy!!

The first of many more to come, I hope. Happy Reading!

    The Clan Elves arrive!

AS AUGUST begins, so does the opportunity to share this series with you, the reader. I’m well into the first draft of the second novel, tentatively titled Clan Elves Book 2. Catchy, huh? I’m sure something better will come along, because the intrigue among the members of the clans and those cast out continues to stir up a world of trouble!

In September, I’ll be heading west for a Masters Immersion Class with Margie Lawson in Colorado, then I’ll continue back to the beautiful Bitterroot Valley for booksignings and some pictures, probably the 18-20. I’d like to have a calendar made for 2011 with pictures of all these lovely settings, so if you know of some particularly good places I might catch one, please leave them in the comments!

If you have a chance to read the book, do go to Amazon.com or BarnesandNoble.com to post a review. So many of us use those reviews, both good and bad, to decide if a book is for us. I’d love to see you there.  Happy Reading!
